The KickoffThe weekend starts with live music on the Klamath Stage. Mickey Ray and the Hooligans bring the block party energy — grab a spot, settle in, and let the long weekend begin. Resort guests only.

Adventure DayCrater Lake National Park and Lava Beds National Monument are both free to enter July 3–5 in honor of America's 250th. Your adventure day trip guide has everything you need — departure times, viewpoints, and what to do when you get back.

The Main EventExclusive Fourth of July dining specials available at Ruddy Duck. S'mores kits in the evening. Stars over Southern Oregon doing the rest of the work. No onsite fireworks — which, if you ask your dog, is exactly how it should be.

Free Entrance Days: July 3–5

In honor of America's 250th birthday, the National Park Service is offering free entrance at parks across the country — including Crater Lake National Park and Lava Beds National Monument, both within easy reach of Running Y.It's one of the best weekends of the year to visit, and you'll already be exactly where you need to be. Running Y's adventure day trip guide is included with the Birthday Adventure Package and covers timing, viewpoints, and everything in between.
